WorkKeys®

ACT WorkKeys® assessments are the cornerstone of ACT workforce solutions. The assessments help measure the workplace skills that can affect job performance.

Assessments go beyond reading and writing competencies. They are designed to measure a range of hard and soft skills which can be applied to any occupation or industry. Assessment examples include Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, Applied Technology, etc.

Successfully completing the ACT WorkKeys® assessments can lead to earning the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®). This credential insures employers that you have critical foundational workplace skills.

Each assessment has varying levels of difficulty and progresses from 1 to 5. The levels build upon one another and incorporate the skills assessed in the previous levels. The complexity may also increase as the levels progress.

Agricultural Equipment Technician Apprentice applicants are required to take and score at least a 3 on the following WorkKeys® assessments:

    • Applied Math
    • Workplace Documents
    • Graphic Literacy
